Ballet des Ameriques is actively seeking additional male & female members. We are looking for dancers with excellent technique in ballet/modern, although knowledge of other dance forms in addition to ballet/modern (e.g., Flamenco, African, Afro-Carribean, Character etc.) is a huge plus. The company is under the direction of Carole Alexis, and is deeply influenced by classical, neo-classical as well as ethnic dance forms.

Ballet des Ameriques is seeking individuals with artistic sensitivity and a high commitment to the arts as a whole. As we are a new company created in 2011, it is important that dancers believe in project construction and are able to commit and join our core of dediated company members. The company meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays in both Manhattan and Port Chester, NY. Dancers from both NY and CT are encouraged to apply. Rehearsals are preceded by a company class.

There will be local, national and international touring in the future. All performances are paid, with the exception of promotional performances. Company members are also offered free classes at the Ballet des Ameriques School, and for those who are qualified, there is the potential to teach regularly, as a substitute or as a guest artist during the School's Summer Intensives as well. A few of our Company Members are already on faculty.
