Job Advice

November 28, 2001

Are you searching for a company contract? Auditions are tough, especially in this economy. Anything you can do to get a leg up is worth it.

Next Friday, Steps Beyond and The School at Steps in New York City will present a panel called “Getting The Job.” Josh Bergasse, the choreographer for the television show Smash, Ruthlyn Salomons, resident dance supervisor for The Lion King, Lucille DiCampli, director of talent agency McDonald Selznick Associates and Tiffany Little Canfield, casting agent at Telsey & Co., will all offer their advice for aspiring professionals. Although none of the panelists are exclusively ballet-focused, each has personal insight into both the dance industry and how hiring decisions are made.

Date: Friday, April 20

Time: 8:00pm

Location: Steps on Broadway, 2121 Broadway at 74th St., Loft III.

Tickets: $10, may be purchased at Steps on Broadway, by calling the box office at 212-874-2410 x27, or by visiting StepsNYC.com/steps-beyond.
