Madeleine Purcell Corbett
A native of Weston, Connecticut, Madeleine Purcell began her training at Connecticut Dance School, continuing her pre-professional training at ABT’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School and Ballet Academy East. After graduation, she danced professionally with Sarasota Ballet, Tivoli Ballet Theatre and Oklahoma City Ballet, among others. Her repertoire included 19th century classics and works by George Balanchine, Antony Tudor, Frederick Ashton, and Yuri Possokhov. Purcell is also a certified teacher of ABT's National Training Curriculum in Levels Pre-Primary through Level 5 and was on the faculty of OKCB’s Yvonne Chouteau School. In 2022, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Psychology. She is currently a graduate student in school psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and facilitates workshops on stress and mindset for K-10 students.
