Your October 2026 Roster Roundup: Dancers and Directors on the Move

by Amelia Bickel and Kyra Laubacher | Oct 5, 2026

Two photos separated horizontally by a pink line. On the left, Herman Cornejo wears a white and gold Spanish-style costume as he leans back in a deep sideways lunge, his front foot in forced arch. He lifts his top arm high with a proud curve and rests his other hand on his hip as he looks down toward his back leg. Corps members sit and watch behind. On the right, James Whiteside partners Gillian Murphy, who poses in attitude derriere on pointe with swan-like arms and a dramatic arch in her back. Whiteside bends back too and points his left leg in tendu a la seconde. Murphy wears a white swan-like tutu; Whiteside wears a Renaissance-style costume with white tights and a green jacket with puffy sleeves.
