Amelia Bickel

Amelia Bickel is Pointe’s 2026 fall editorial intern. Amelia trained at small studio near the Delaware beaches, where she had the opportunity to participate in national and local competitions, such as Youth America Grand Prix and National Ballet Competition, in addition to shows at her home studio. She is currently an undergraduate English and Music major and Journalism, Editing, and Publishing minor at Washington College. She works as one of the news editors for the college’s student-run newspaper, The Elm, and is on the executive board of the dance club. She has staged original choreography at both the college and at a neighboring dance festival and uses her extensive ballet training to offer open ballet classes to students at WC. Amelia continues to seek out opportunities to dance and has participated in programs at American Ballet Theatre, The Joffrey School NYC, Philadelphia Ballet, Ballet Theatre of Maryland, and First State Ballet Theatre.
