Dancing Together To Help Japan

Japanese and American dancers in New York are coming together to put on a benefit concert to raise money for the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund.

 

“Dance for Japan” will showcase Yuriko Kajiya of American Ballet Theatre, Ryoko Kudo of Limon Dance, Maile Okamure of Mark Morris Dance Group, Harumi Terayama of Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Kanji Segawa (of Aszure and Artists among others), Japanese students from ABT’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School and many others. The concert will take place on Saturday, April 16 at 8 pm at the James and Martha Duffy Performance Space at the Mark Morris Dance Center. 

 

Seating is limited and reservations are required. The suggested donation is $35 per person. One hundred percent of ticket sales will be donated to Japan Society for the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. To make a reservation, go to dpny-us.org.
