Indianapolis Ballet’s Yoshiko Kamikusa Shares Her Stretching and Strengthening Routine

Yoshiko Kamikusa does a piqué attitude derriere croisé on her left leg during a performance of Swan Lake. She lifts her right arm high and stretches her left arm out to the side. She wears a white classical tutu , pink tights and pointe shoes, and a white feathered headpiece. A line of corps de ballet dancers stdn in a line on stage right, facing upstage with their right foot in B plus and holding their arms low, wrists crossed. Three other dancers stand upstage in tendu derrierre in effacé, their arms also low and crossed. They all wear knee-length white tutus, pink tights and pointe shoes and white feathered headpieces.
