Watch Pacific Northwest Ballet's Season Encore Performance Live
On Sunday, June 11th, two of Pacific Northwest Ballet‘s principal superstars—Carrie Imler and Batkhurel Bold—will take the stage for one last performance before retiring from the company. To celebrate their enduring careers (Imler joined PNB in 1995 and Bold in 1996), PNB asked Imler and Bold to choose their favorite ballets for the Season Encore Performance.
But don’t worry if you can’t make it to the show. Beginning here, at 6:30pm PST, PNB will be live-streaming the entire performance, which is comprised of the following seven experts and full works:

“For more than 20 years, in thousands of classes, rehearsals and performances, Carrie Imler and Batkhurel Bold have helped to build and define the reputation of this company,” said PNB Artistic Director Peter Boal in a press statement. “It’s virtually impossible to represent the numerous roles these two have performed or the many dear memories they have given us,” he went on to say of the evening’s repertoire. “We’ll see Carrie’s pristine technique, unmatched musicality and sharp humor. We’ll see Bold as chivalrous partner, gallant prince and gravity-defying dynamo.”
Until Sunday, we’ll be refreshing PNB’s Instagram page, where they’ve been paying tribute to Imler and Bold with rehearsal footage and throwback pics like these:
