Kyra Laubacher

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kyra is Dance Spirit’s editor in chief and Pointe’s news and health editor. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude from Butler University with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in English Literature. Kyra danced with Eugene Ballet in Eugene, Oregon, before joining Dance Media’s editorial team in 2022. She is also a freelance fiction and children’s book editor, certified in manuscript editing through the University of Chicago.
