Be Counted

November 28, 2001

Do you work in the dance field in New York City? Help Dance/NYC’s Junior Committee figure out how to serve you best. They just launched a census to gather research on the hurdles and contributions of people ages 21–35 who work in dance.

The Dance Workforce Census is a short, anonymous survey that can be accessed until May 27 at dancenyc.org/becounted. The goal is to help increase public awareness of this demographic’s livelihoods, and to guide policymakers and fundraisers in shaping future decisions. Help yourself—and the rest of your fellow dancers—out by taking a few minutes to fill it out.
