Catch a Royal Ballet Live Stream This Friday
If you love behind-the-scenes footage of your favorite companies at work, you’re in luck. The Royal Ballet will live-stream a rehearsal of Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet tomorrow, Friday, September 11, beginning at 2:15 pm EST. The work celebrates its 50th anniversary this season, and the broadcast gives us all a chance to see it in action. The rehearsal will feature dancers Sarah Lamb and Ryoichi Hirano going over the Act I and III pas de deux, and Alexander Campbell being coached through Mercutio’s solos. Exclusive interviews with the dancers will be included.
Tune in tomorrow on the Royal Opera House’s YouTube channel or website to catch the live stream.
